"A hint of home ~ while they wait for theirs"™ Tragically, for a rescued animal, their time spent in a shelter may well be the last days they will ever know. Others, more fortunate, could spend weeks, months, even a lifetime (in no-kill shelters) in the same cage – on hard, cold, often wet or dirty, concrete floors – summer and winter. There’s little relief for the elderly or injured or even pregnant mothers or mothers with puppies/kittens. But Pet Beds are expensive and few shelters can afford to purchase them for the animals in their care. Animal Rescue Aid launched the National Pet Bed Donation Program to make it possible for shelters and rescue groups to purchase quality Pet Beds at cost (only $22.50 per Pet Bed - for medium, even large sizes!). Replacement PVC Nylon Toppers can also be purchased for just $8.50 each! In addition, Animal Rescue Aid covers all shipping costs (in the contiguous USA) - making every, fully taxable, fund-raising dollar go even further!
